Excelsior Care Group's Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a Concierge to welcome Residents and families from admission through discharge. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting, coordinating with Admissions and nursing staff, and ensuring comfortable, well-prepared rooms.
The ideal candidate has prior customer service experience, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced facility.

Pay Rate: $18.00–$23.00 per hour
We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and detail-oriented Concierge to join our Nursing and Rehabilitation Center team. As the welcoming face of our facility, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for Residents and their families from admission through discharge.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare environment.
Partner with the Admissions Department to coordinate new admissions and communicate equipment needs, including beds, oxygen, and other supplies, to nursing staff
Prepare Resident rooms for incoming admissions by ensuring:
Previous Resident belongings are packed and removed
Terminal cleaning has been completed
Beds are properly made
Call bells, lights, televisions, and other room equipment are functioning
Assemble and deliver welcome baskets to new Residents
Greet and escort Residents from the lobby to their rooms while providing a warm and welcoming first impression
Develop positive relationships with Residents and families by providing assistance, support, and excellent customer service
Respond to call bells within the scope of the position and notify nursing staff when additional care or assistance is required
Address Resident concerns and complaints in accordance with the facility's grievance process
Assist with Resident room transitions, including transitions from short-term rehabilitation to long-term care
Complete Concierge follow-up documentation within 48 hours of admission and before discharge
Provide facility tours during off-hours or when Admissions staff are unavailable
Submit daily progress reports to leadership and communicate trends, concerns, or Resident needs
Coordinate with laundry services to ensure stored Resident belongings are returned appropriately
Prepare and distribute discharge gift bags
Monitor and coordinate Resident smoking schedules in accordance with facility policies
Attend required in-service trainings, Resident Council meetings, and staff meetings
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Administrator
Previous customer service experience required
Customer service experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), rehabilitation center, or Assisted Living Facility (ALF) preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, professional, and compassionate approach when interacting with Residents, families, and staff
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
