Job summary

The Lodge of Northbrook is seeking a hospitality-focused Concierge to warmly greet residents, guests, and service providers daily. This part-time role includes weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM) and possibly one weekday evening shift (3:30 PM - 9:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing telephone coverage.
• Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner that meets organizational objectives and keeps situations from escalating.
• Accept delivery packages, document receipt in log book, and notify the resident of delivery.
• Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff.
• Assist the Business Office Manager with projects/assignments.

The Lodge of Northbrook is recruiting for a hospitality focused Concierge. This role is responsible for meeting and greeting residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers in a warm and professional manner on a daily basis. They are the first face someone sees when visiting our community!

Starting Pay: $18 per hour

Available Shifts:

Weekends: Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Potential for one weekday evening shift: 3:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Concierge:

• Provide ongoing telephone coverage.
• Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met, as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately. Keep difficult situations from escalating.
• Accept delivery packages, document receipt of packages in log book, and notify the resident (recipient) of delivery
• Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
• Assist the Business Office Manager with projects/assignments.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
• Must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills
