Job summary

Clarendale Clayton is seeking a hospitality focused Concierge to greet residents, guests and vendors daily in a warm, professional manner. This full-time role reports to the community team and serves as the first face visitors see.

The schedule is Monday–Friday with some weekend hours, and starting pay is $16/hour. Key duties include answering phones, documenting deliveries, processing maintenance requests, and assisting the Business Office Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have multi-line phone experience.
• Excellent telephone communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, calendar bookings, and email.
• Ability to navigate with Excel.
• Logistics experience is a plus.
• Experience in a senior living community is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing telephone coverage.
• Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met, as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately.
• Accept delivery packages, document receipt of packages in log book, and notify the resident (recipient) of delivery
• Deliver packages
• Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
• Heavy computer use with Microsoft
• Assist the Business Office Manager with projects/assignments.
• Other duties as needed

Clarendale Clayton is recruiting for a hospitality focused Concierge. This role is responsible for meeting and greeting residents, guests, prospective employees, suppliers, vendors, and outside service providers in a warm and professional manner on a daily basis. They are the first face someone sees when visiting our community!

Schedule: Full-time opportunity, Monday - Friday with some weekend hours

Salary: Starting at $16/hour

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Concierge:

• Provide ongoing telephone coverage.
• Solve issues presented by residents, guests, vendors, and suppliers in a manner so that both the organizational objectives are met, as well as the individuals feel they were served appropriately. Keep difficult situations from escalating.
• Accept delivery packages, document receipt of packages in log book, and notify the resident (recipient) of delivery
• Deliver packages
• Prepare maintenance work orders as requested by residents and staff
• Heavy computer use with Microsoft
• Assist the Business Office Manager with projects/assignments.
• Other duties as needed

Hours: Mon - Fri 8am -4:30pm - May cover some occasional weekends as needed

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Multi line phone experience
• Must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills
• Must be comfortable with Microsoft Word, heavy Calendar bookings, and email
• Must be able to navigate with Excel.
• Previous logistics is a huge plus
• Previous work in a senior living community a plus
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
