Job summary

The Concession Worker at Sylvania will prepare, serve, and sell food and beverages at school events, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, families, and visitors. You will handle cash, operate a POS, and maintain displays during events.

Evening shifts from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm, with a start date of September 12, 2025, at school athletic events, performances, or activities. Prior food service experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Prior food service or retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system accurately.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings during school events.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures preferred (training may be provided).
