Job summary

New London-Spicer School District 345 seeks a Concession Stand Supervisor(s) to manage, supervise, and coordinate all activities for the concession stand during home events. This role may be shared among more than one person.

Responsibilities include directing workers, managing cash, preparing food items, stocking inventory, and maintaining equipment. A valid driver's license is required for special duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the concession stand for home events.
• Direct concession workers for home events.
• Monitor the cash box and product giveaways.
• Prepare popcorn and pizza.
• Sell concession items.
• Order and stock stand with products.
• Update inventory in Google Sheets.
• Stock the stand before events.
• Clean the concession stand after events.
• Inventory concessions after each event and restock coolers.
• Lock up after events.
• Enter inventory in Google Sheets.
• Process check requests for Letter Club products.
• Assist with securing/prepping stands for outside groups.
• Care for equipment and facilities used.
• Other duties as assigned.

General Definition of Work:

The Concession Stand Supervisor(s) supervises, manages, coordinates, and plans all activities that directly relate to the Concession Stand.

Qualification Requirements

Essential Functions

• Supervise the concession stand for all home events
• Direct concession workers for home events
• Monitor the cash box and any product giveaways
• Make popcorn and pizza
• Sell concession items
• Responsible for ordering and stocking the stand with concession stand products
• Update product numbers for inventory numbers on Google sheets once the products arrive
• Stock the stand with products prior to events
• Clean the concession stand area immediately following events
• Inventory concessions immediately after each event - restock coolers after each event
• Lock up cabinets/door for concession stand
• Enter inventory into Google Sheets for concessions
• Signer for check requests for Letter Club products
• May also need to secure and/or prep concession stands if outside groups are using the concession area for their event.
• Assists in the responsibility of the care of equipment and facilities being used.

Other duties as assigned and appropriate.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - dependent on position

Knowledge of District Website; knowledge of concession stand equipment; ability to make arithmetic computations using whole numbers and decimals; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, students, parents, and elected officials.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current district staff member preferred but not required.

Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, speaking or hearing and using hands to finger, handle or feel and occasionally requires standing and walking; work requires close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus, depth perception, color perception, and peripheral vision; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data;work has exposure to environmental conditions; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. sporting events).

Special Requirements

Valid driver's license.

Pay:

$2,179 - $2,745 DOE per Master Agreement Schedule C
*note - pay is prorated if position is shared
