Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a Concessions Supervisor to lead the operation of UW‑Madison concession stands during sporting events at Camp Randall Stadium and The Kohl Center Arena. You will supervise volunteers, ensure training, and maintain safety and guest service standards, with an anticipated August start date.

You will manage inventory, services, and paperwork, while enforcing cash handling and alcohol service policies to deliver a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year leadership in food service or similar role.
• Willingness to obtain Responsible Alcohol ServSafe Certification and Food Handler's ServSafe if not certified.
• Must be 21+ years of age for alcohol handling responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of multiple concession stands during UW-Madison events.
• Assist team members and volunteers, respond to questions and provide guidance.
• Understand menu offerings, presentation, and pricing for accurate service.
• Maintain inventory control and proper handling of products and equipment.
• Stock and prepare concession stands before each event.
• Clean and close stands after events.
• Complete event paperwork at shift start and end.
• Uphold cash handling policies and follow food safety guidelines.
• Enforce responsible alcohol service and compliance with regulations.
