Job summary

Gourmet Dining & Chartwells Higher Education is seeking a Concessions Supervisor for a full-time shift at Rutgers Athletics in Piscataway, NJ. Nights and weekends are required; schedule varies with events, and prior supervisory experience is necessary.

The role directs associates on shift, overseeing adherence to policies and procedures while ensuring quality, productivity and safety. Training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and mentoring are key duties with additional responsibilities as

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.

• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity, and safety standards are met.
• Serve as the contact person for employee requests and time-off.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Schedule: Full time schedule; days and hours may vary, based on events. Nights and weekends are required. More details upon interview.


• Requirement: Prior supervisory experience is required; food service experience is preferred.


• Pay Range: $25.00 per hour to $29.00 per hour.

Job Summary

• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.


• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and stride for advancement within the organization.


• Perform other duties as assigned.
