Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including making cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs sales transactions promptly and accurately.
2. Enters all sales into the cash register.
3. Makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
4. Handles cash refunds following standard procedures.
5. Interacts with customers and resolves complaints professionally.
6. Manages change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with standards.
7. Observes customer purchases and differentiates portions.
8. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and maintains cleanliness.
9. Stocks pastry case and maintains inventory.
10. Follows service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
11. Ensures sanitation, ServSafe, and safety compliance.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
