Job Summary

The Bar Back receives all liquor, beer, and wine from the storeroom daily and as needed, replenishing supplies throughout the shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Retrieve food items from the kitchen and deliver to the bar.
2. Retrieve beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and deliver to the bar.
3. Set up bottles on the bar, placing 'top shelf' liquors on the back shelf.
4. Ensure beer taps are functioning properly.
5. Stock bar snacks, napkins, and supplies throughout the shift.
6. Assist with opening and closing side work as assigned.
7. Bustle tables in the bar area.
8. Maintain cleanliness of the bar and lounge areas, including washing tables, walls, refrigerators, floors, and sweeping/mopping.
9. Remove rubbish from all receptacles.
10. Prepare and serve beverages to assist the bartender.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
