Job summary

Proof of the Pudding, a chef-led hospitality company, seeks a Concession Manager for the Dallas Arboretum venue. You will lead daily concession operations, manage staff, ensure food safety, and optimize guest service across outlets during events and daily operations.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, inventory control, and collaboration with leadership to deliver exceptional experiences in a dynamic venue setting. On-site work with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality, Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in Food & Beverage Operations and/or concessions.
• Must live near or be willing to relocate to Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily opening, service, and closing procedures across concession locations.
• Schedule and assign staff based on business volume and event needs.
• Train, coach, and supervise cashiers, cooks, runners, and concession attendants.
• Maintain standards for food prep, presentation, portion control, and guest service.
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and coordinate deliveries and restocking.
• Control food waste, labor costs, and supply usage.
• Oversee POS operations, cash handling, and daily sales reconciliation.
• Ensure completion of daily checklists, temperature logs, cleaning, and equipment inspections.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Coordinate event setup, equipment, power needs, and product transport.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Communicate staffing needs and concerns to leadership.
• Lead by example and assist with food prep, service, and restocking.
