Job summary

Proof of the Pudding, a chef-led hospitality company, is hiring a Concessions Manager in Austin to lead day-to-day concessions operations and 3rd-party partners at Circuit of the Americas. The role requires overseeing onboarding, contract negotiations, and site logistics while ensuring safety, sanitation, and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in high-volume food and beverage operations, a degree in Hospitality or related field, and a hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hospitality, Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in Food and Beverage Operations and/or concessions.
• Must live near or be willing to relocate to Austin, TX.
• Specialized qualifications include budgeting, team leadership, hands-on drive, and POS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day duties to ensure flawless event execution.
• Lead subcontract management for 3rd party vendors and concessions partners, including negotiation and onboarding.
• Own onboarding of subcontractors: recruit partners, credentialing, insurance, and site logistics.
• Serve as primary liaison between Proof of the Pudding and the client, safeguarding the relationship.
• Communicate vendor requirements to relevant departments and maintain safety, sanitation, and security standards.
• Track budgets and expenditures, flag variances, and support financial objectives.
• Organize regular cross-functional meetings ahead of each event and set staff expectations.
• Attend events to ensure smooth setup, operation, and breakdown.
