The World Equestrian Center-Ocala is currently seeking a Concessions Cook to join our culinary team. The primary responsibility is to prepare and cook foods according to recipes and procedures per restaurant/outlet specifications. Ideal candidates must have excellent customer service skills, experience in food and banquet services, and a desire to provide a great experience for our guests. Weekend availability is required.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Confer with the manager on duty about prep list to determine the requirements of the day.
  2. Follow company recipes and procedures when preparing or cooking food.
  3. Work in a clean, efficient, and organized manner.
  4. Audit guest checks to ensure all food items are rung up properly.
  5. Maintain high standards of hygiene and appearance.
  6. Assist with controlling costs and waste.
  7. Observe good sanitation and safety procedures.
  8. Maintain a sense of ownership regarding kitchen equipment.
  9. Work effectively and professionally with other departments of the restaurant.
  10. Assist in opening/closing duties and clean-up work as required.
  11. Perform other duties as requested by management.

  • Vision abilities include close vision.
  • Must be able to talk and hear.

  • Ability to follow directions.
