Position Summary

The Concessions Cashier utilizes a cash register and accepts payment while delivering elite customer service to our ballpark patrons. Responsibilities include preparing and serving concession items, pouring beverages, and ensuring the quality of food presentation. Candidates must maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.

This role pays an hourly rate of $11.25 to $12.75.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct sales at the cash register by entering orders and completing transactions.
2. Maintain stock and supply levels, and communicate low stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
3. Respond to customer requests or concerns.
4. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
5. Serve beverages, including alcoholic beverages responsibly, and verify guest IDs in accordance with regulations.
6. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Must be 18 or over.
3. Experience in the food service industry preferred.
4. Previous cash handling experience preferred.
5. Ability to learn cash handling and operate a cash register system.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
