Position Summary

The Runner will play a key role in supporting the catering and culinary teams by assisting with event setup, food running, product delivery, cleaning, and event breakdown. This position involves delivering high-quality food and beverages to designated premium areas with efficiency and attention to detail. The Runner will ensure timely delivery of food and drinks during events while maintaining cleanliness in service and dining spaces. Additional responsibilities include organizing and restocking supplies, as well as preparing the event space for breakdown after the event concludes.

This role pays an hourly rate of $9 to $11, plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Meet the company's standards for guest service, teamwork, and uniform standards.
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance, including well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as per company policy.
• Set up food service areas within specific suites or club areas based on pre-orders and same-day orders.
• Ensure all assigned areas are prepared prior to events based on received communication.
• Monitor and maintain food and beverage quality.
• Control inventory and handle product requisitions.
• Have full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments.
• Observe guests and respond to additional requests.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance.
• Ensure equipment is operational and clean before events.
• Recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and take appropriate action regarding alcohol service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by food and beverage management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 or older.
• At least 1 year of experience serving in a premium setting.
• Possess valid food handling and alcohol service certificates if required by law, or be willing to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well with diverse personalities and maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Remain focused in a loud and busy environment.
