Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Supervisor - Concentrator to lead daily operations at the East Boulder Mine concentrator. You will convert weekly plans into shift assignments, monitor process conditions, and coordinate with Maintenance, Metallurgy, and Process Control to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, equipment performance, and timely decision-making in a high-hazard mining environment.

Competenze

• Five or more years of progressive concentrator, mineral-processing, metallurgical, or related continuous-process operating experience.
• One or more years in a lead, relief-supervisor, trainer, or frontline leadership role.
• Working knowledge of concentrator processes and related equipment.
• Experience with mine/industrial safety, environmental and energy-isolation requirements.

• Lead pre-shift safety discussions, workplace examinations, equipment inspections, field-level risk assessments, and verification of permits and procedures.
• Maintain visible field presence and correct unsafe acts, reinforce stop-work authority.
• Ensure MSHA compliance, SOPs, environmental permits, and training are followed.
• Manage attendance, leave, overtime, and timekeeping per policy.
• Build relationships across shifts and with operations, maintenance, metallurgy, and support teams.
• Convert weekly plans into Daily Shift Plans with targets and staffing.
• Direct and monitor crushing, conveying, grinding, flotation, slurry, filtration, and related processes.
• Monitor throughput, recovery, grade, and process trends; adjust as needed.
• Inspect circuits, troubleshoot with teams, minimize downtime.
• Coordinate shutdowns, isolation, start-ups, and return to service.
• Manage shift sequencing and workload while protecting weekly commitments.
• Operate within shift cost and resource parameters, controlling consumables and energy.
• Identify waste, excess consumption, and prevent rework.
• Ensure logs, production reports, and environmental records are accurate and auditable.
• Provide effective shift passdowns on plant status and hazards.
