Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater in Nye, MT is seeking a Supervisor - Concentrator to lead safe, compliant operation of the mine-site concentrator. You will translate weekly plans into daily shift assignments, verify readiness, direct operators, and monitor process conditions.

The role requires proven frontline leadership, strong safety focus, and ability to coordinate with Maintenance, Metallurgy, Process Control, and other support functions to optimize throughput, recovery, and concentrate quality.

Qualifications

• Progressive concentrator/mineral-processing operating experience.
• Experience leading frontline teams and shift execution.
• Knowledge of concentrator equipment: crushing, grinding, flotation, slurry, thickening, filtration.
• Experience with safety, environmental and energy-isolation requirements.
• Proficiency with standard office software and production-reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-shift safety discussions and risk assessments.
• Maintain visible field presence and enforce safety.
• Ensure MSHA compliance and SOP adherence.
• Manage attendance, overtime, and timekeeping.
• Coordinate equipment access, shutdowns, and startup activities.
• Convert weekly plan into daily shift plans.
• Direct process operations across crushing to filtration.
• Monitor throughput, recovery, and concentrate quality.
• Inspect circuits and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Provide thorough shift passdowns with status and hazards.
