Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a COMSEC Tier 2 Technician to provide frontline support for Army COMSEC users, troubleshooting cryptographic equipment, software, keys, and operational issues at Fort Huachuca.

You will analyze issues, guide customers through resolutions, escalate complex problems, and assist testing and deployment of new COMSEC technologies in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant vocational training or certification preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot COMSEC systems (ACES, SKL, MGC/CHO) and related hardware/software.
• Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for COMSEC systems and hardware.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and document Tier 2 COMSEC issues with timely updates.
• Communicate with customers via phone, Teams, or email to guide resolutions.
• Escalate unresolved issues and maintain follow-through until resolution.
• Support COMSEC operations tasks including key processing and device initialization.
• Install and maintain COMSEC workstation software/hardware; test new technologies.
