Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Communications Security (COMSEC) Custodian/Officer to manage and develop the COMSEC Program across multiple sites in the United States, including the Jessup, MD area.

The role requires travel up to 15% and a US Citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. The candidate will establish and maintain COMSEC accounts regionally, train partner teams, update policy doctrine, and liaise with Government customers and vendors to ensure security standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working in COMSEC, networking, or IT support for the Federal Government
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain COMSEC accounts regionally, including on-site troubleshooting and inventorying devices
• Appoint and train partner teams to support ad-hoc requirements
• Update AWS policy doctrine to ensure compliance with customer requirements
• Audit COMSEC accounts and advise on current and planned COMSEC postures for all AWS locations
• Maintain liaison with Government customers and COMSEC vendors to provide guidance on standards and policies
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support information security programs
