Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is hiring a Communications Security (COMSEC) Custodian/Officer to manage and develop the COMSEC Program across multiple sites in the United States.

Travel up to 15% is required, and candidates must be a US citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The role encompasses establishing regional COMSEC accounts, training partner teams, updating policy doctrine, auditing accounts, and advising leadership on current and future COMSEC postures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of COMSEC, networking, or IT support for the Federal Government.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain COMSEC accounts regionally, with device provisioning, inventory, and compliance tasks.
• Appoint/train partner teams to support ad-hoc requirements.
• Update policy doctrine to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Audit accounts and review proposed programs for COMSEC security.
• Advise management and partners on current and planned COMSEC postures.
• Liaise with Government customers and COMSEC vendors on standards and policies.
• Serve as COMSEC SME on inter-agency groups and tasks.
• Maintain accountability of all COMSEC items across sites.
• Develop/update operating procedures and EAPs for sites and partners.
• Conduct half-year COMSEC and EAP training for custodians.
