Simbe is seeking a Computer Vision / Applied AI Intern to join the team building and improving CV systems that turn imagery from Tally into actionable retail intelligence. You will work on real-world data and production-style pipelines under mentorship at our Burlingame, CA headquarters.

This internship provides hands-on experience across CV/ML lifecycle, including data curation, model evaluation, and deployment, with a defined project and structured feedback throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/MS/PhD in a technical field (CS/CE/Robotics/ML).
• Strong Python and CV/ML coursework or hands-on projects.
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and Git.

Responsabilités

• Develop, test, and evaluate CV/ML solutions using Python and modern frameworks.
• Work with production image datasets to identify patterns and improve models.
• Contribute to object detection, OCR, segmentation, or dataset curation as needed.
• Build tools to support dataset analysis, model eval, and production workflows.
• Communicate progress and results to engineers and mentors.
