Unified Work in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Computer Technician to test and refurbish laptops and electronics. You will work in a team of 4–6 technicians under a Lead Technician to deliver quality repairs for retail and wholesale customers.
The role emphasizes hands-on repair, independent work within a team, and a commitment to keeping technology out of landfills; training may be provided in the Work Readiness program and NAID Access requirements apply.
The Computer Technician tests and provides quality, efficient repairs for laptop computers and other electronics as needed. This role works within a team of 4 to 6 Technicians under the direction of a Lead Technician to complete exceptional work refurbishing recycled laptops to the specifications needed for retail and wholesale customers. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and repairing laptops, can work independently within a team for a common goal, and is interested in keeping technology out of landfills by getting it ready for a new home. The Computer Technician will often interact with and sometimes train employees in our Work Readiness program, which primarily employs people leaving incarceration or recovering from substance use disorders.
