Job summary

PlanITROI LLC in Youngsville, NC is seeking a Material Handler for a temp-to-perm role. You will clean and detail laptops, desktops, monitors, and other devices to meet our quality standards before resale or refurbishment.

Hours are 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. Upon conversion, you’ll receive a full benefits package and join a growing ITAD team at PlanITROI Center of Excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling environment.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware (Laptops, Notebooks, Tablets, Servers, etc.)
• Experience in sorting and tracking materials preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy. Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer literacy; ideally, experience in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to use bar-code scanners and inventory systems.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. safely and frequently.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting throughout the shift.
• Experience in ITAD, electronics, or computer refurbishing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and sort incoming technology assets, including laptops, desktops, monitors, and related IT equipment.
• Support daily warehouse operations by maintaining accurate inventory counts and ensuring timely movement of materials.
• Accurately sort materials by vendor, model, and serial number to maintain organized inventory flow. Identify, label, and track assets through internal inventory management systems.
• Inspect and handle computer hardware to identify model types, specifications, and condition.
• Stage materials for departments such as Receiving, Audit, Repair, and Shipping. Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other material‑handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. Follow company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Material Handler

Position Overview

PlanITROI is hiring a Computer Hardware Light Cleaner for a temp-to-perm role with a 90-day conversion period. You will clean and cosmetically detail laptops, desktops, monitors, and other devices so they meet our quality standards before resale, refurbishment, or redistribution.
