Job summary

ABBTECH Professional Resources, Inc. is seeking a Computer Technician for a one-day project in Powell, TN. You will work on 7 laptops and 2 all-in-one PCs, with no data migration required, and complete tasks per provided scripts and directions.

The role requires a background check (ABBTECH pays) and a CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification, with an hourly pay rate of $19–$21 depending on experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 1 year of PC deployment experience or 2 years of related work.
• At least 1 year of End User Computing PC/Laptop deployment experience.
• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support 7 laptops and 2 all-in-one PCs; no data migration.
• Follow instructions and update tracking systems as directed.
• Complete a background check and maintain customer service standards.

ABBTECH Professional Resources and our partner Dell, are looking for a Computer Technician for a project in Powell, TN.

Project Details:

• Pay Rate : $19-21/hr - Depending on Experience

• Duration: 1 day

• Start Date : 10/15/2026

• Location : Powell, TN

• Requirements : All positions require a successful completion of a background check (we do not check credit) - ABBTECH pays for the check

• Certification Requirements: CompTIA A+ or equivalent

• Duties :

• 7 laptops and 2 AIO. No data migration

The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions. ??

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Required Qualification:

• High School Diploma and 1 year of experience with at least a CompTIA A+ certification or at least 2 years of experience.

• At least 1 year of experience working as an End User Computing PC/Laptop Deployment Team

• Possesses proven customer service background.

• Able to follow verbal and written instructions and update tracking systems as directed

• Possesses good analytical and communication skills

• Possesses strong ability to work independently

• Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions and scripts

• Detailed oriented, independent, self-starter and customer service oriented

• Must have the ability to lift up-to 50lbs.

• Must be able to be on your feet ALL DAY and include up to walking the entire building, walking to different buildings and up and down stairs.

Desired Qualification:

• MCP, MCSE, CNE or Network+ certification is a plus

• Certification in various hardware platforms may optionally be required for servicing hardware issues.
