U-Haul is seeking a motivated Desktop Support Technician with 1-2 years of experience to join our IT team in Phoenix. You will provide frontline technical assistance to employees, resolving desktop and software issues and ensuring smooth IT operations.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, solid Windows/macOS knowledge, and familiarity with AD and Office 365. You will collaborate with IT colleagues, document resolutions, and help safeguard data in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of desktop support experience.
• Solid understanding of Windows and macOS, and common software.
• Experience with Active Directory and Office 365.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCDST, or equivalent are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users for desktop hardware, software, peripherals, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, workstations, and peripherals like printers and scanners.
• Respond to service requests promptly and resolve issues; escalate when necessary.
• Perform hardware and software upgrades as needed.
• Maintain and update hardware/software inventory; assist in setup of new user accounts.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
• Solid understanding of desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications.
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and other productivity tools.
• Basic knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or equivalent are a plus.

Education

Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
