The Technical Services Support Specialist provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to the Technical Services Department and the broader user community. This position assists with troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and support of computer hardware, networking equipment, and related technology systems. The position is responsible for maintaining accurate equipment inventory records and supporting the organization’s computer replacement schedule. The successful candidate will provide responsive, professional, and customer-focused technical assistance to faculty, staff, students, and other users.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Associate Degree or equivalent education and experience; 1 to 2 years related technical experience; display professional deportment at all times
