JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated CAD Technician to join our design and engineering teams. The role involves creating, updating, and managing technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software, focusing on UAV and aerospace design. The CAD Technician will be vital in developing and executing technical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop 2D and 3D CAD drawings from specifications, sketches, and instructions.
2. Assist in translating concepts into technical schematics and layouts.
3. Review and revise models and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
4. Model existing components through reverse engineering.
5. Maintain drawing files, CAD libraries, and document control systems.
6. Collaborate with teams to ensure design feasibility.
7. Support prototyping and manufacturing with production-ready documentation.
8. Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
9. Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Certification or coursework in CAD, Drafting Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred; High School graduates with 1+ years of experience are welcome.
• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of simulation tools or rendering software.
