Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. seeks a Compute Platform SRE Lead to support their Compute Managed Services project. You will oversee 24x7 monitoring, incident management, and stability across multi-cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure), driving observability improvements and automation while ensuring security compliance.

On-call shifts and overlap with US/UK/AU hours are part of the role. Join a dynamic team to deliver high-quality compute services, develop SOPs, and collaborate on automation enhancements

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cloud platform and OS administration experience (Windows/Linux).
• Proficiency in automation: Ansible, Terraform, Python, Bash.
• Strong observability and incident management knowledge.
• Security hardening, vulnerability management, and compliance experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
• Experience with disaster recovery and change control.

Responsibilities

• 24x7 monitoring of compute platforms using ELK and PagerDuty.
• Manage incidents and problems across servers, middleware, OS and cloud.
• Execute repaving, change management, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure security and vulnerability compliance, including user management and certificates.
• Handle service requests, configuration updates, and audit data extracts.
• Develop and update SOPs for infrastructure operations.
• Collaborate on cell-based automation improvements and continuous service enhancements.
