OTC Industrial Technologies in Toledo, OH is seeking a Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors and related rotating equipment at DIRECTAIR sites. You will monitor sites remotely, diagnose issues, and implement proactive improvements while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role emphasizes safety, ongoing training, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies. A valid driver’s license and a willingness to learn are essential components of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with rotary screw, oil-free and/or oil-flooded air compressors preferred.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and organized work habits.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to pass drug test and background check.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
• Coachable and eager to learn.

Responsabilités

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment at DIRECTAIR sites.
• Monitor sites remotely and respond proactively to issues.
• Diagnose issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Identify site repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and communicate site needs.
• Keep service vehicle stocked with tools and order parts at sites.
• Respond to urgent calls and minimize downtime.
• Represent OTC professionally and build customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and stay current through ongoing training.
• Handle emergency service calls with speed and precision.
