Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Service Technician to service air compressors and rotating equipment across the region. Youll troubleshoot, repair, and monitor sites, growing your technical expertise through ongoing training.

The role includes a company vehicle, a 4-day, 10-hour schedule, and a focus on safety and reliability. Candidates with a high school diploma and hands-on experience in rotary screw or oil-free/flooded compressors are welcomed, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience with rotary screw, oil-free or oil-flooded compressors preferred.
• Strong communication and reliability are essential.
• Valid driver’s license; able to pass drug test and background check.
• Physically able to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods.
• Coachable and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating equipment at DIRECTAIR sites.
• Monitor sites remotely and respond proactively to issues.
• Diagnose issues and recommend solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Identify site repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete accurate service reports and communicate site needs.
• Keep service vehicle stocked with tools and order parts as needed.
• Respond to urgent calls to minimize downtime.
• Represent OTC professionally and build customer relationships.
• Follow safety protocols and stay current through training.
• Handle emergency service calls with speed and precision.
