Job summary

Basin Energy Group LLC is seeking a motivated Compressor Station Operator to oversee and maintain gathering system compressor stations in the Williamsport area. You will document operations, perform routine maintenance, monitor throughput, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

On-call duties and emergency response are part of the role. You will work with field personnel, report readings, and help maximize efficiency while following company and industry standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Gas or Diesel Mechanics preferred.
• Read, write and speak English; demonstrate safety and environmental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain natural gas compressor stations and related midstream equipment.
• Document readings (temperature, pressure, runtime) and log daily activities.
• Perform minor maintenance on engines, compressors, generators, and related facilities.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with contracted personnel to resolve issues.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and emissions requirements.
• Work 12–16 hour shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, on-call as needed.
