Responsibilities include building and evaluating a comprehensive counseling program aligned with CPS REACH, conducting needs assessments, delivering curriculum, guiding individual planning, and collaborating with families and staff to support

Qualifications

• Master's degree in school counseling and ISBE PEL with School Counseling Endorsement.
• ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Counseling Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive school counseling program aligned with CPS REACH Framework.
• Conduct annual needs assessments and data reviews to prioritize student needs.
• Design and deliver the school counseling core curriculum across classroom, small group, and whole-school settings.
• Provide individual student planning and guidance to help students graduate and plan postsecondary options.
• Offer indirect student support and advocate for student development within the school and community.
• Coordinate professional development and collaborate with staff and families.
