Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Compounding Technician II under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist. The role involves working in a clean room to compound medications at least 50% of the time, ensuring accurate dosages and adherence to quality standards.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience, and a valid CPhT license where required. Vaccination and aseptic technique training may be included and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred and licensed or registered if required by state.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate mathematical calculations and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with policies and state regulations.
• Prepare medications to be accurately compounded and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain and sanitize pharmacy surfaces and equipment, record temperatures and logs.
• Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
