Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is looking for a Compounding Technician I to join our team. Under the direction of a licensed pharmacist, you'll work in a clean room to assist with the compounding of medications, ensuring safe and accurate operations.

The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of pharmacy technician experience. You'll engage in various responsibilities, from preparing medications to maintaining pharmacy supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).
• Experience providing customer service to internal/external customers.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Prepares medications to ensure accurate compounding.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
