Job summary

Option Care Health is hiring a Nationally Certified NY Registered Pharmacy Technician to join a large home infusion team in New York. You will work under a licensed Pharmacist, performing compounding and dispensing support in a clean room environment, ensuring accurate preparation and labeling of medications.

The role emphasizes customer service, basic calculations, and documentation, with opportunities to grow within a large national infusion provider known for expanded patient care services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered where required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications per policies and state standards.
• Prepare medications to be accurately compounded and labeled.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
• Maintain accurate packaging and labeling of medications.
• Assist with medication incident assessment, management, and reporting.
• Maintain pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hood cleanliness.
• Record and monitor pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs.
