Job summary

Hims & Hers in Ohio is seeking a Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our closed-door pharmacy team. You will focus on non-sterile compounding, including topicals, tablets, and gummies, while adhering to USP 795 and USP 800 standards and maintaining a compliant work environment.

The role requires current Ohio Certified Pharmacy Technician registration with active license, at least 1 year of experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active OH Certified Pharmacy Technician registration.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience; hospital or compounding setting a plus.
• Familiarity with USP 795 and USP 800 standards and non-sterile compounding processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, documentation, and record-keeping.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, calibrate, and maintain non-sterile compounding equipment and designated workspaces.
• Assist with staging raw materials and managing non-sterile compounding inventory.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
• Participate in site-specific training, ongoing competency assessments, and annual revalidation.
• Maintain proper documentation, including batch records, ingredient logs, and cleaning logs.
• Follow USP 795 and USP 800 requirements and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
• Compound non-sterile medications (tablets, solutions, suspensions, gummies, etc.) following prescription orders and site SOPs upon completion of certification.
