Option Care Health is seeking a Compounding Technician II to support the licensed Pharmacist in a clean room environment, performing medication compounding and related tasks. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and efficient workflow in the compounding process.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification where applicable, with at least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
• Pharmacy technician experience helpful.
• Basic math and record-keeping skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications per policies and state standards.
• Maintain and sanitize pharmacy surfaces and equipment; ensure logs are accurate.
• Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.
