Job summary
Option Care Health, Inc. seeks a Compounding Pharmacy Technician I to assist under a licensed pharmacist in a clean room. The role involves compounding medications, labeling, and processing in accordance with policy and state regulations.
Strong math, organizational, and customer service skills are essential. Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience and a valid license/registration (as required by state) are required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Pharmacy technician license/registration as required by state.
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and accurately dispense.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications per policies.
- Prepare medications with accurate dosages and labeling.
- Label, package, and document medications for dispensing.
- Maintain pharmacy surfaces and laminar hood cleanliness.
- Record and monitor pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs.
