Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Compounding Technician I to support licensed Pharmacists in a clean room environment, performing compounding tasks at least 50% of the time to ensure safe and accurate operations.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with prescription compounding, labeling, calculations, and processing, while maintaining quality, accuracy, and compliance with state regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state)

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies.
• Prepares medications for accurate compounding.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Participates in medication incident reporting and management.
