Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with policies & procedures.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Participates in assessing, managing, and reporting medication-related incidents.
• Maintains pharmacy temperature & cleaning logs.
• Inspects equipment and ensures surfaces are cleaned and sanitized.
