Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I for its New York operations. Under a licensed Pharmacist, you will compound medications in a clean room and support dispensing, labeling, and dosage calculations. Requires NY registration and at least 1 year of technician experience.

Strong math skills and customer-service experience are essential. Beneficial to have familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
• Labels and packages medications accurately.
• Reports medication incidents as required.
