Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to work in a clean room, assisting with compounding medications under a licensed pharmacist. You will prepare and label medications, perform basic calculations, and help ensure accurate dispensing while maintaining a clean and compliant work environment.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, pharmacy technician experience, and state licensure/registration if required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with internal and external customers.
• Ability to perform basic and intermediate math calculations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications according to policies and state rules.
• Prepare medications to be accurately compounded and labeled for dispensing.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations to determine correct dosages.
• Label and package medications accurately and efficiently.
• Support in monitoring, reporting, and managing medication-related incidents.
• Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods.
• Inspect equipment and document any faults; keep temperature and cleaning logs.
