Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Compounding Technician I to support pharmacists in a clean room, performing compounding 50% of the time and ensuring safe, accurate operations.

Responsibilities include preparing medications, basic calculations, labeling, and maintaining logs; maintain equipment and cleanliness; no supervisory duties. Qualifications include HS diploma, 1 year pharmacy tech experience, license/registration if required, strong customer service and IT skills.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsabilidades

• Assist pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with OCH policies & procedures, and in accordance with state regulations & standards.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations in order to obtain correct dosages of medications.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Participates in the process for assessing, managing, and reporting medication related incidents.
