Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Compounding Technician I in Dublin, OH. Under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, you will compound medications in a clean room at least 50% of the time to ensure safe, accurate operations.

Responsibilities include prescription compounding, preparation, and processing, labeling, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Strong math, organizational, and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (state dependent).
• Customer service experience with quality standards.
• Able to perform basic to intermediate math.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic Word skills.
• Basic Excel skills.
• Basic PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Prescription compounding, preparation, and processing.
• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing per policies.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Accurately label and package medications.
• Participate in reporting medication-related incidents.
• Clean and sanitize pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods.
• Inspect equipment and document failures or defects.
• Record and maintain pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs.
