Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with pharmacy tech license/registration where required by state.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience and customer service ability.
• Ability to perform basic to intermediate math calculations and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies per policies and state standards.
• Prepare medications for accurate compounding and label packages correctly.
• Perform basic calculations to determine correct dosages.
• Record and maintain accurate temperature and cleaning logs for the pharmacy.
• Participate in incident management reporting related to medications.
