Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist Technician I to join our Irving, TX site. Under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist, you will work in a clean room to compound medications and support accurate, efficient operations.

You will assist with preparation, labeling, and processing, perform basic dosage calculations, and help ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies. Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience and a high school diploma or GED are required;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year pharmacy technician experience.
• Pharmacy technician licensure/registration required by state.
• Strong customer service and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Prescription compounding, preparation, & processing.
• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing per policies and state regulations.
• Prepare medications accurately.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Label and package medications.
• Participates in the process for assessing, managing, and reporting medication incidents.
