Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona to lead compounding operations, supervise technicians, and ensure compliance with USP standards. The role includes reviewing formulas, records, and QA checks while providing patient counseling as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or BPharm, an active AZ license, 2+ years of compounding experience, and familiarity with USP 795/800 and regulatory requirements. Multistate licensure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience
• Non-sterile compounding experience
• Knowledge of USP 795, 800, and pharmacy regulations
• Strong math skills
• Ability to undergo respirator fit testing
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required
• Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems
• Multi-state licensure preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters
