Job summary

Quality Talent Group seeks a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona to lead sterile and non-sterile compounding processes, supervise technicians, and ensure strict compliance with USP and state regulations. The role includes patient counseling and ensuring product quality.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or BS/BS in Pharmacy with an active AZ license, 2+ years of experience, and familiarity with USP / guidelines; multi-state licensure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy required
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License required
• Minimum 2 years pharmacist experience
• Non-sterile compounding experience required
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800> and pharmacy regulations
• Strong math skills
• Respirator fit testing ability
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• English proficiency and comfort with Windows-based systems
• Multi-state licensure preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters
