Qualifications

• Minimum of BS in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Experience in compounding preferred.
• Understanding of aseptic technique and familiarity with USP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Check entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Perform calculations to ensure ingredients are measured and utilized properly.
• Visually inspect lots compounded in sterile and non-sterile labs.
• Visually inspect individual prescriptions for color, consistency and appearance.
• Answer and make clarification calls dedicated for pharmacists.
• Guide providers regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for individualized care.
