Job summary

Barrington James is supporting a fast growing, multi-site 503A compounding pharmacy in the greater Houston area that is seeking a hands-on Compounding Pharmacist for day hours. This is a high-volume mail-order operation with room to grow as sites expand.

You will compound at volume, supervise technicians, maintain batch records and documentation, and ensure compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards while driving process discipline and growth.

Qualifications

• Active Texas pharmacist license; additional states a plus.
• At least 5 years of licensed practice.
• Compounding experience is required.
• Hands-on experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting.
• Experience overseeing pharmacy technicians.
• Strong documentation and process discipline.
• Committed, long-term mindset.

• Compound prescriptions accurately and at volume on day hours.

We are currently supporting a fast growing, multi-site 503A compounding pharmacy operating a high volume mail order pharmacy in the greater Houston area that is looking to engage a Compounding Pharmacist.

With three sites open and more on the way, this pharmacy needs another hands on compounding pharmacist on day hours. You will compound at volume, oversee the technicians around you and keep documentation and process to a high standard in a mail order operation that is scaling quickly. Leadership promotes from within and describes no limit to career growth for people who work hard. This is not a verification seat with occasional compounding. This is a hands on compounding role inside a high volume, multi-site 503A pharmacy, for a pharmacist who wants to grow with the business.
