Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Mesa, AZ to oversee non-sterile compounding, ensure drug safety, and maintain compliance with USP standards.

Responsibilities include supervising techs, performing quality checks, counseling patients, and supporting regulatory audits; the role offers stability, benefits, and opportunities in a growing health-care organization.

Qualifications

  • Pharmacist with Doctorate in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Active Arizona Pharmacist License required.
  • Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience.
  • Experience in non-sterile compounding and USP <795>/<800> knowledge.
  • Strong math and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to pass respirator fit testing and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
  • Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
  • Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates.
  • Ensure compliance with USP, BOP, state and federal rules.
  • Conduct patient counseling and dispense medications.
  • Participate in QA, audits, and CQI initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment.
  • Coordinate with Pharmacist-in-Charge on regulatory matters.

Shifts: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy
  • Active Arizona Pharmacist License
  • 2+ years of pharmacist experience
  • Non-sterile compounding experience
  • Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to undergo respirator fit testing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required
  • Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems
  • Multi-state licensure preferred
Key Responsibilities
